Today part of the team headed south to Baja California in Chase 1 and Chase 3 for some racing. Chase 2 and Red Jeep 3 are staged in a ware-house in Los Angeles, after Jim and John’s suspension tuning two weeks ago in Barstow California. Tomorrow we will head over the boarder to our villas in Ensenada. We are racing Norra The Mexican 1000, off-road rally celebrating the roots vintage off-road racecars. The race starts Sunday April 22nd and ends Friday April 27th. For our fans who are not familiar with the Norra format, it is an off-road race that starts in Ensenada Mexico and ends in San Jose del Cabo. Every night we stop for food, sleep, drinks and if necessary jeep repairs. The first night we stop in San Felipe, then Bay of LA, next Loreto, La Paz and finally we finish in San Jose del Cabo. With the success of last year’s Baja 1000, the team is excited to be taking the refreshed Jeep down for this classic race.
